Greg's Grooves has been selling vinyl online for 30 years with an impeccable customer satisfaction record. Expect the highest standards in condition of the records, along with prompt, personal customer service.

Condition info

Records are graded visually, under a bright light. Based on the industry-standard Goldmine ratings, we use NM, VG++, VG+ and VG to describe the condition of the records, covers and vinyl.

• NM is unplayed, looks unplayed or is very close to it; covers look new or almost new.
• VG++ is excellent with just a hint of wear.
• VG+ is very good with more obvious wear, background noise may be audible in places, covers may have some ring wear or edge wear.
• VG is fair, cover may be damaged and vinyl worn or scratched but playable.
• G is good for filling out a collection but has serious issues.

The records and covers are cleaned by hand prior to shipment.

Inner sleeves

When a record from Greg's Grooves includes an original inner sleeve (which may include more information on the artist, photos, lyrics, credits etc.), it is noted in the condition description. If the original inner is damaged, it is included but the vinyl will be placed in a new, generic inner sleeve. The albums are presented in new, clear outer sleeves prior to shipment.

Shipping

Using custom mailers that protect the record edges and corners, we ship from California within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, via the U.S. Postal Service.

At non-rush times, a record ordered with standard shipping (USPS Media Mail) may reach you in as little as 2-7 days, depending on how close you are to the West Coast. Expedited shipping (USPS Priority Mail) should reach you within 3 to 4 days (allow more time at the busy Christmas holiday season).
