Are your records new or used?
Most of our records are gently used, classic original vinyl, hand-picked, graded and cleaned. We also carry original, factory-sealed albums that have never been opened (graded SS). See our sealed albums.
Are the records originals or reissues?
Most are original pressings from the 1960s onward. Each listing gives the year, label and catalog number of the actual record for sale, and the description notes when a record is an original release. When a record is a reissue, the listing says so (or uses the abbreviation “re”).
How do I find out the condition of the records?
Every listing shows the grade of the cover and the vinyl, in that order: for example, “Cover VG+ / Vinyl VG++” means a VG+ cover and VG++ vinyl. Records are graded visually under a bright light, and serious flaws (such as loud pops, skipping or sticking) are noted. Pictures are of the actual album for sale unless marked “Stock image.” Original inner sleeves are noted in the description.
What does NM, VG++, VG+ etc. mean?
We use a modified version of the industry-standard Goldmine grading:
- M: Still sealed or in mint, unplayed condition.
- NM (near mint): close to perfect, with very little, if any, sign of use.
- VG++: excellent, with just a hint of wear that does not affect the sound.
- VG+: handled and played with care; may have light scuffs or occasional surface noise, but no loud pops or skipping. Covers show more wear.
- VG: more signs of age and handling; serious flaws are noted. Fine for those who don't mind that “old record” sound.
- G: good for filling out a collection, but seriously worn or damaged.
See our full grading standards & terms.

- Standard (USPS Media Mail, $4): 5-10 days on average.

Delivery is fastest to the western U.S. Allow extra time at the busy Christmas holiday season.
